Who we are
The IEEE at UConn is a group of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering majors who are broadening our educational experience by involving ourselves in the leading professional organization in our future career fields.
What we do
We take on a wide variety of fun and interesting engineering projects, primarily having to do with Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, that allow us to add real world experiences to our extensive classroom experience.
Over the coming semesters we are planning several projects that will benefit the University, apply our classroom experiences to real world problems, and provide the IEEE with some much needed campus exposure. Take a look at the activities page for details.
Third General Meeting
On Monday, November 9th, 2009, we will hold our third general meeting at 6 P.M. in ITE 336. Our guest speaker will be Ali Gokirmak, who will be presenting on the thermoelectric effects of high voltage strobing of nanowires. See the details here.
This meeting is open to all, and refreshments will be served.
